Role overview:

The Manager Operations, based in Miami, the Operations Manager will lead a team of Supervisors, Coordinators, Drivers and Dispatchers ensuring seamless daily operations. This key role is responsible for the efficient and compliant transport of biological samples from clinical sites to laboratories and General operational services, upholding the highest standards of safety, timeliness, and regulatory adherence.

Additionally, the role involves enforcing safety protocols, training staff, and maintaining precise documentation throughout the transit process. The Operations Manager will prioritize data collection, analysis, and the implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance efficiency, optimize performance, and support overall business goals. Collaborating closely with multiple departments, the Manager will align operational processes, provide strategic guidance to the OPS team, and ensure the successful execution of key initiatives.

Responsibilities will include:

· Lead and manage the Operations Team, providing direction and guidance to ensure the team meets its goals related to data analysis, operational efficiency, and project execution.

· Develop and oversee the strategic roadmap for improving operational processes, leveraging data insights to drive continuous improvement.

· Work closely with senior leadership to ensure that the data and operational strategies align with the broader goals of the company, particularly in the transportation of the services.

· Collaborate with the team in developing project timelines and ensuring the successful execution of projects across departments, such as dispatch, warehousing, and logistics.

· Ensure that project tasks are appropriately delegated and monitor the progress of all operational initiatives, providing feedback and making adjustments as necessary.

· Facilitate regular check-ins and reporting with the OPS team to track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones.

· Review and validate data reports provided by the BIO supervisor and General cargo supervisor, ensuring accuracy and relevance to business objectives.

· Use data analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for cost reduction, implementing solutions to streamline operations.

· Work with both supervisors to implement cross-functional initiatives that improve the flow of the services reduce operational downtime, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

· Ensure all operations compliance with regulatory requirements standards (e.g., IATA, DOT, FDA) and also including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

· Drive process improvement initiatives that focus on maintaining quality, compliance, and safety standards in all operational activities.

· Performing Administrative Activities such as day-to-day administrative tasks including the maintenance of information’s files and processing costs in SAP system.

· Maintain accurate documentation and records of all services activities, including shipment logs, temperature monitoring records, compliance documentation, and audit trail documentation, to support regulatory inspections and audits.

Qualifications and skills:

· University degree in relevant fields such as Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related areas.

· Significant prior experience (at least 5–8 years) in operations and logistics management roles in the industry or related industries.

· Strong negotiation skills to engage with suppliers, clients, and local regulatory authorities.
