Role overview:

The Manager Operations Mexico leads and oversees daily logistics operations and activities of our Life Sciences Division, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with local regulations, adherence to established quality standards, and contributing to the success of OCASA in the country.

Responsibilities will include:

· Manage local operations by identifying opportunities for process improvement.

· Plan activities for managers and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with all processes and procedures established by current regulations.

· Guarantee adherence to local regulations for the proper functioning of the company's services.

· Manage and ensure controls over national operations and warehouse logistics.

· Ensure compliance with the specifications and procedures of the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.

· Develop, manage, and control processes for the proper delivery of services.

· Ensure adherence to quality standards (QA/Clients) and provide support in costing and implementing new services.

· Collaborate and partner with involved areas in processes related to new projects.

· Promote innovation and the adoption of advanced technologies to improve operations and processes.

· Evaluate operational performance through data analysis and reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement.

· Manage, motivate, and develop the Operations team under their leadership.

· Conduct interviews and collaborate with Human Resources in the recruitment, development and performance management processes for the operations department.

· Oversee recruitment and ensure the onboarding of qualified talent.

· Ensure the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of all processes necessary to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and 13485:2016.

Qualifications and skills:

· University degree in relevant fields such as Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related areas.

· Significant prior experience (at least 5–8 years) in operations and logistics management roles in the industry.

· At least 3 years People Management experience.

· Experience managing and executing continuous improvement projects.

· Proficiency in English, as the role involves interaction with multicultural teams and international stakeholders.

· Desirable knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

· Ability to lead and motivate teams and manage projects strategically.

· Experience in supply chain management and pharmaceutical logistics.

· Strong negotiation skills to engage with suppliers, clients, and local regulatory authorities.

· Proactive problem-solving skills to address operational issues, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

· Results-oriented approach with the ability to set and meet operational KPIs and strategic objectives.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and overcome unexpected challenges in a highly regulated industry.

· Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with global teams, authorities, and other stakeholders.
