The Operations Associate supports the Operations Department by processing and uploading information into the system, related to cargo shipping, delivery, and collection. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operational and administrative workflows through the accurate and timely entry of high-volume data. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with company standards for quality and confidentiality. Responsibilities also include verifying data accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and assisting other teams with routine reports and data maintenance tasks.
Job Purpose
- Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.

- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations.
- Assist in tracking and allocating operational costs to ensure accurate and timely cost recording in the system.
- Support the cost allocation process across multiple services and regions handled by the operations team.
- Handle the release of services in the system (cost unblocking) to allow for proper billing flow.
- Perform data entry and quality control checks in the system to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Address discrepancies with vendors and agents in the system.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies with agents and suppliers regarding service costs or documentation.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Effective communication skills.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a related field.
- Must possess strong organizational skill and handle several tasks at time.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Double-checking entries to avoid costly mistakes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess effective time management skills.
- Bilingual: Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with data entry software: Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or proprietary systems.
- Collaboration: Working with supervisors or other departments to clarify data issues.
- Data protection awareness: Understanding the importance of handling sensitive data securely.
Full-Time Position
$16 - $18 per hour
