Role overview:

Reporting to the VP Human Resources, the Manager Talent Acquisition to lead our global recruitment efforts and elevate the hiring experience across our international footprint. While this role currently has no direct reports, it will be responsible for driving recruitment strategy and operations, coaching and guiding local HR generalists, and partnering closely with the VP of HR to ensure talent acquisition aligns with overall business and people priorities.

This is a unique opportunity for a collaborative and agile recruitment leader who excels at both execution and strategic thinking, and who can build influence and drive change across borders without formal authority.

Responsibilities will include:

Recruitment Strategy & Delivery

  • Partner with the VP of HR to design and implement a scalable, data-informed recruitment strategy aligned with business growth plans.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for key roles across regions, ensuring an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with HR and business leaders, identifying future talent needs and creating proactive hiring plans.
  • Design and standardize recruitment processes, templates, and tools to enable consistency, speed, and quality across countries.

Global Recruitment Coordination

  • Act as the central point of expertise and support for all recruitment activities across the organization.
  • Coach and guide HR Generalists in multiple countries to ensure they are equipped to manage recruitment effectively, aligned with best practices and local compliance.
  • Ensure hiring practices are locally compliant, culturally relevant, and aligned with organizational values.
  • Support international hiring campaigns and niche searches where needed, including sourcing strategies and coordination of selection processes.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment vendors and agencies to ensure delivery of high-quality candidates, compliance with service-level expectations, and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate partners by geography or function, define clear KPIs, and regularly assess vendor performance and ROI.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between internal stakeholders and vendors to maximize value from partnerships and ensure alignment with hiring needs and timelines.

Operational Excellence & Metrics

  • Track and analyse key recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness) and provide insights to improve process performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and optimize use of recruitment technology (ATS, job boards, screening tools).
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and candidate engagement efforts, ensuring consistency across regions.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Build strong partnerships with local HR teams, hiring managers, and business leaders to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
  • Influence without direct authority by establishing credibility as a trusted advisor and providing training and best-practice guidance to local teams.
  • Act as a thought partner to the VP of HR on global talent acquisition trends, challenges, and solutions.
