At OCASA Life Sciences, we’re looking for a Mid-Level Business Intelligence Analyst to join our IT team in Miami. This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on experience who is ready to take ownership of projects, work directly with stakeholders, and continue growing within a global organization.
You’ll work closely with business and technical teams across different countries, helping transform business needs into scalable data solutions, dashboards, integrations, and automated workflows.
Partner with business teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Design and develop ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
Build and optimize complex SQL queries.
Create automations using n8n or similar tools.
Integrate applications and data sources through REST APIs.
Develop and maintain pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Build Python scripts for data processing and automation.
Create dashboards, reports, and semantic models in Power BI.
Support data governance and cataloging using Microsoft Purview.
Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders across the organization.
Document solutions, processes, integrations, and data flows.
Identify opportunities to improve and automate data processes and architecture.
3–5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL.
Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT development.
Experience using Python for data processing and automation.
Experience working with REST APIs.
Strong experience developing dashboards and data models in Power BI.
Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, including Data Catalog and Data Governance.
Experience with n8n or similar automation tools.
Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Portuguese is highly preferred.
Ability to work directly with business users and technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working independently while knowing when to collaborate or escalate.
Proactive and solution-oriented.
Able to manage your own priorities and take ownership of assigned projects.
Strong at translating business needs into practical technical solutions.
Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Curious, analytical, and interested in continuous improvement.
