The “driver / cargo dispatcher” will share a combination of responsibilities between both driver and cargo dispatcher positions. The D.C.D will ensure cargo is in proper condition as regulated by company standards, follow regulations stated by TSA and transport the cargo to the airport orany assigned destination. The D.C.D will also enter shipping information on SAP and or spreadsheets, keep records organized as well as monitor shipments.


Job Description:

  • Keep records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
  • Enter shipping information into an Excel / and SAP system.
  • Track delivery progress of shipments. Monitor Processes, Materials - Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
  • Processing Information — verifying information or data.
  • Analyze Data and Identify Objects, Actions, and Events — Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
  • Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Performing Administrative Activities — Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing costs in SAP.
  • Immediately inform supervisor of any problem with loading and/or shipping.
  • Follow the rules and regulations issued by TSA and airport administration.
  • Check the physical condition of the cargo upon receipt.
  • Load, transport and deliver biological or regular cargo to customers or airlines in a safe and timely manner.
  • Assist, as appropriate, in loading and unloading shipments from vehicles.
  • Prepare and package bio load as required.
  • Drive vehicles correctly and following traffic laws.
  • Keep the vehicle in optimal condition.


Requirement & Qualifications:

  • Fast typing skills is strongly preferred.
  • Proactive and Strong Follow up skills.
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Must be Bilingual: English & Spanish
  • Customer service skills preferred.
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledge of scanners, barcodes, tracking numbers, order numbers
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
